The Careers & Enterprise Company have specific resources to support Career Leaders.

The Coventry & Warwickshire Careers Hub

The Coventry and Warwickshire (CW) Careers Hub team of 6 work with all state schools and colleges.

Our role is to link secondary schools and colleges in Coventry & Warwickshire to local employers and help them deliver high quality careers support for students by:

  • Building Networks :linking schools and colleges to high calibre business volunteers (known as Enterprise Advisers) and other career providers through the Careers Hub.
  • Supporting Careers Leaders :providing training and support for Careers Leaders in schools and colleges.
  • Backing the Gatsby Benchmarks: supporting implementation of a best practice standard for careers support, the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks.

Pet XI

Pet XI are an organisation focussed on creating and supporting engaging work experience for people across the country. They run a number of different programmes and offer support in careers and learning, from IT courses to traineeships.

They have recently launched a Positive Futures programme aimed at1 5-24 year olds not currently in education, employment or training. The programme offers support in different areas to increase the opportunity of gaining skills and qualifications.

Prospects work to support young people to develop the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the future.

ToolShed

ToolShed specialise in helping young people to gain work placements in employability and functional skills. They run a Work & Study programme for 16-24 year olds to complete a work placement of your choice and receive tutoring for English, Maths & Employability.

Work Pays

Work Pays are a training provider offering professional training and employability support across the Midlands. They run different courses to help young people gain employability skills, learn about the recruitment process and most importantly gain that all important experience through traineeships or work experience.
